In its first five years, CIMA’s Celebration and Awards Gala has recognized Canadian heavyweights with awards for their immense contributions to our indie music sector.
Due to the pandemic, CIMA’s Celebration and Awards Gala will not be held in 2021, however as part of the Business Summit on June 22 & 23, CIMA will still be honouring two passionate professionals, pulling from all branches and levels of the biz.
This is your chance to nominate yourselves, your mentors, peers, employees and partners for the Pivot Award and the Trailblazer Award.
Deadline for submissions: Thursday, May 20 at 5:00PM(EDT)
For each award please submit one name for consideration, along with around 100-300 words per nominee, explaining why you believe each individual has notably contributed to Canada’s independent music community. This part is extremely important and valuable, as it gives our jurors the perspective they need on selecting this year’s award recipients.
Please note: nominator information will be kept private.
