CIMA returns to Hamburg and Berlin, Germany this September for the 2019 edition of the Reeperbahn Festival! We’re excited to finally reveal the artists who will be showcasing at Canada House this year.
Events will kick off in Berlin where companies will get the opportunity to participate in a pre-Reeperbahn business initiative that CIMA is working on with Berlin’s Reeperbahn office and the Canadian embassy. The initiative includes a full day of business events at the Canadian embassy (round table and speed dating sessions). Reeperbahn Berlin will be offering separate business events on the Tuesday.
In Hamburg, Canadian companies will get the opportunity to participate in a Meet the Canadians matchmaking session with German industry on the Thursday.
Canada House showcases will take place on Thursday September 19, Friday September 20 and Saturday September 21 at Kukuun (Spielbudenplatz 21-22 20359, Hamburg). The three days of showcases will feature 33 Canadian acts.
On the Saturday, as a kick off to the year of Canadian initiatives in Germany leading up to the 2020 Frankfurt Book Fair, Reeperbahn attendees are invited to join the Canadian delegation at Canada House for some morning networking bites and unique book readings of Indigenous Canadian authors read by Indigenous Canadian musicians who will then perform throughout the afternoon.
