CIMA was pleased to have partnered up with Unison Benevolent Fund and CAMH with a webinar available to artists and industry professionals. The session was great and is now available to watch: please see below:
Session Description: As a result of the developing COVID-19 pandemic, artists and industry workers alike are facing all-new threats to their sources of livelihood and support. While adapting alone to the financial implications of cancelled tours and record releases can prove to be mentally taxing, the weight of the virus’ potential social impact and the sudden enforcement of physical distancing protocols provide additional challenges in their own right.
At times like these, mental health and community support are of paramount importance. Join CIMA and the Unison Benevolent Fund as we host CAMH’s Dr. David Goldbloom and Catherine MacLellan on Wednesday, April 15th at 1 PM (EST) for a public webinar discussing tips and strategies to maintain mental health and preserve community during uncertain times.

Catherine MacLellan is one of Canadian folk music’s true gems. This is the same award she took home in 2015 for her standout album, The Raven’s Sun.
